July 5th San Antonio

If you don't appreciate your Chaperones, Try this... sleeping on church floors for 3 nights in a row,staying up past midnight,every night and back on the road this AM at 6:15. The Youth can sleep on the bus,but sleep seems to escape the older leaders.San Antonio looks to be a wonderful City. The weather wasn't too hot yet. We went to the opening ofCruzando this evening, and it was quite a powerful experience. xx000 teenagers in the San Antonio Dome,Rocking and praising God. The first speaker was quite insperational. He talked about building a new generation that was committed to helping others. He challenged us to surrender to Jesus, and do what we were meant to do. Use our gifts and talents to serve others. While at the dome, some of the leaders keep track oftheir "flock" by holding something high in the air everyone can follow. We saw a good idea for the nextgathering...a puppet held high in the air that said Go God...Jesus on a stick...sounds pretty Minnesotanto me!
